Subverse is right around the corner, releasing later this month on Steam (26th of March, 2021). Until now the price of the game has remained a mystery but just today it was announced by Mr. Kristoff from Subverse Dev Diary that the game will be priced at $29.99 on launch. This price will remain in effect until the game reaches the official version 1.0 release, at which point the price will change to $39.99. (Subverse Pricing announcement).
If you know and are prepared to get the game at some point eventually, perhaps it is better to take advantage of the lowered price before the 1.0 version release. If you are unsure whether to get the game or not, know that I will be taking a deep dive into Subverse and bring you an extensive look at the game shortly after the release.
If you have not been following my Subverse blog posts, be aware that Subverse will be releasing in chapters instead of a full game. We will get to experience the first six chapters upon the release and Studio FOW will be releasing more chapters down the line. You only pay once to gain access to all the chapters, in other words, the full game.
Watch the Subverse official trailer or Wishlist the game on Steam if you have not done so already, and stay tuned for the release of the game later this month and look forward to my introduction to the first chapters!
