You are considered one of the best ghosts out there, but beneath the reputation lies a man running from his troubled past. When the next job comes along, you meet a young girl who carries a burdening secret, and with that, you are forced to face your demons…

Along your journey, you will meet many characters from which some are allies and some are enemies. It is up to you how you will interact with them. Do you keep things professional or do you decide to ditch them? Or perhaps you will surrender to your lust and enjoy a night of hot erotic action.
City of Broken Dreamers contains; chapters 1-7, 5300 detailed renders at 1920 by 1080 resolution, 274 full 1080p animations that run at 30 fps, a fully licensed soundtrack including 28 songs by artists such as Titan Slayer and We Are Astronauts. The game promises hours of gameplay with re-playability, scene replay theater, and more!
City of Broken Dreamers plays like a visual novel. Every choice is said to have an impact, the kind which will always have some form of consequence further down the line. There are no wrong answers so you can play the game the way you like and see where your answers will lead you.
Each female character will relate to you differently based on how you approach them. They have a score and a lust value. Depending on the character, these can open up new scenes and more options.
You have a hidden stat that represents your anger. This feature is said to come into play in many areas of the game, not only in your dialogue but even in how your character may react in certain situations.
There are bonus high-resolution images of the women that are hidden throughout the game which you can find. While they are not necessary for you to collect, they do reward more lewd content for those who pay attention to their surroundings.
After an erotic scene has been completed, it will be added to your replay theater which you can access from the main menu.
City of Broken Dreamers promises an experience where the story and characters come first. A world with a rich backstory, something that one would not expect from a typical erotic visual novel simply because such luxuries do not come often. Many games promise many things, it is part of the marketing speech after all, but based on player reviews, City of Broken Dreamers has received overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam overall, many of which back up the claims of the rich story.
Despite not having played the game myself just yet, the reviews speak for themselves, this is something I am looking forward to getting to play very soon.
Depraved Awakening
