The development of the awaited game Almastriga: Relics of Azathoth has been officially terminated. This news was shared by the creator Taboolicious on Twitter/X on June 26, 2024.

Further elaboration was given on their Steam community page, which states the following:

“After years of working on this project with the best hopes and attitude from all the devs, we have to drop it. All coders have moved on to other projects rendering this game impossible to continue. We on the process of taking it down, but if you already purchased it, it will remain in your library. Thank you kindly for everything, it was quiet the ride… its time to rest and rebuild” – End of quote.

Further details were provided exclusively to supporters on Patreon:

“All Coders have moved on to other projects rendering the project impossible to continue. It got to a point where everyone here was basically working for free and tons of personal investment, but I no longer can produce this on my own. Patreon will be closed effective next…” – End of quote.
