A Town Uncovered is a simple point-and-click adventure where you visit different places around a town and talk to its residents, some of which you get to have a good time with. The story is delivered in a very typical visual novel format where during conversations, you get to have some dialogue options which lead to different events and results.
There are over 40 characters to meet and romance, no doubt you will find a handful of characters that are worth chasing after. On top of that, there are over 40 locations and 10 areas to visit.
When it comes to the adult content, the erotic scenes provide both softcore and hardcore for players to enjoy. The sex scenes include; Exhibitionism, voyeurism, lesbian, anal, glory hole, orgy, and threesome. These scenes use frame-by-frame animations, though the lack of frames during the scenes can be quite disappointing.
There are multiple game mechanics in place that many may find charmingly exciting. Aside from the simple money and inventory system, there are things like day & night cycle, dating, stats/skills, and more! With many places to visit and characters to meet, there are a bunch of different events you can explore and discover at your own pace.
Thanks to a trusty mobile phone feature, you can keep track of your interactions in the world. The phone gives tips and tasks related to different characters so that you will never feel lost when exploring the town for things to do.
A Town Uncovered tells a simplistic lighthearted story surrounding a mystery waiting to be… “uncovered”. There is a deep branching narrative in which you hold the power to shape the story with your own decisions.
