Lust Epidemic Gameplay
A love letter to old-school point-and-click adventures, Lust Epidemic can be considered a hidden gem among indie adult games. Doing almost everything right both story and gameplay-wise, behind the simplistic look hides a thrilling story and world to explore for the fans of mystery horror games.
The Saint Dame University campus has been cut off by a flood, forcing Bradley and everyone else to spend a night what was supposed to be a quick meeting. With nothing to do but wait, this opens up an opportunity for Brad to flirt with the ladies frustrated by the unexpected events, all while exploring the campus and discovering its secrets.
The world may seem small, limited to a single building, but within the walls a grand adventure awaits, slowly opening up with new rooms and areas to explore as the mystery deepens. In midst of the uncertainty of what is happening on the campus, the player will solve simple puzzles and gather items that will open up new opportunities to both make a move on the ladies and discover secrets.
There is plenty of lewd content to enjoy in between puzzles, all well written to fit the events of the story. In addition to this, there is a treasure hunt element as part of the exploration that provides even more lewd content to discover in form of Kamasutra pages and coins used in the bonus area of the game.
Story
A sex scandal struck by a town leads East State university to a lawsuit against a rivaling school that results in a meeting between the involved at Saint Dame university. Among the unlucky to participate in the meeting during stormy weather is Bradley who is simply looking for a ride home from his friend but soon finds himself stranded with everyone when the path home is cut off by flood.
Forced to spend a night on the campus waiting for the weather to clear up, no one is pleased by the circumstances except for Brad who finds the unfortunate event an opportunity to puts his moves on the ladies. While getting to know everyone little by little, Brad begins to learn a thing or two about the lawsuit and the events leading up to it, as well as strange occurrences happening across the campus during the night that leads him to believe there is more at stake than just a mere lawsuit waiting to happen.
If things were not bad enough, it appears the group is not alone as there are rumors of the place being haunted with a demon lurking by. As the night continues to late hours, these ridiculous rumors gradually begin to manifest when there are sightings of an outsider roaming about the campus.
Lust Epidemic does an excellent job creating an eerie atmosphere that keeps players at the edge of their seats with great anticipation of the next events waiting behind a puzzle. With interesting characters to meet and talk to, the story starts strong and only gets better with each hour to a point of uncontrollable craving to get to learn how it all ends.
Characters
From the outside, Lust Epidemic may seem to provide only a simple cast of sexy mature women waiting to be charmed by Bradley, but in truth, each of the characters, including men, holds an interesting story to them which the game gives enough space to explore as the story progresses.
There are multiple sub-stories at play at the same time, all slowly coming together to connect each character to form a bigger story that is worth getting invested in. The characters have their own troubles and concerns that Bradley can help with, but while doing so, the player is able to learn more about them and find the characters quite three-dimensional, more than a game like Lust Epidemic has any right to be.
Puzzles
Solving puzzles in Lust Epidemic is not hard nor complicated, yet still entertaining. Often the player is tasked to find an item or information to solve a specific problem for a character and sometimes these tasks lead the player to a sexy reward, other times to continuation of the main story. While the nature of the puzzles rarely changes throughout the game, thanks to the great story attached to them, things never seem to get boring around the campus.
Discovering keycards that grant access to new rooms previously locked opens up the world to explore even further. While some keycards can be found laying around at convenient places or given by characters at certain points of the story, others must be earned through puzzles.
The player can gather and utilize items to solve certain puzzles by accessing the inventory screen and trying them out in places where the item seems most logical to use. When in trouble with no idea of where to go or what to do next, there is a crystal ball in the inventory that can be used to gain a free hint that helps keep the player moving while avoiding unnecessary frustration.
Lust Epidemic Adult Content
Centered around sexy mature women and MILFs getting seduced by Bradley during the night of hurricane and flood, Lust Epidemic delivers plenty of vanilla/hardcore adult content that is sprinkled throughout the story.
In addition to the story-driven sex scenes, the player is able to discover Kamastura pages hidden across the game world that get registered to the adult gallery upon finding them. These pages unlock new adult scenes to enjoy but can only be accessed once a character has enough heart tokens. To increase the heart meter, Bradley must first advance in the story and puzzles for the women to gradually find greater interest in him.
Just like Kamasutra pages, coins can also be found and collected in the world. These give the player a chance to purchase sexy clothing for the women to wear in the adult gallery to spice things up. A bonus area where the costumes can be bought and previous adult scenes replayed is accessible via a phone found in the inventory.
The adult content is partly animated, providing simple few-frame motions, yet enough to elevate the experience. Many of the lewd scenes work great as static images but when animated, they give more reason to stay a while longer to enjoy them. Unlike many erotic visual novels out there, Lust Epidemic keeps its adult content short but sweet with few words spoken that never overstays its welcome.
Lust Epidemic is a surprisingly well-written story mixed with interesting characters and events that the player gets to experience up close while exploring the creepy halls and rooms of the Saint Dame University campus. For a small price it asks, there is a lot of content here to enjoy, making Lust Epidemic an easy recommendation for anyone who is into sexy mature women!
