You have 12 beautiful Anime Waifus to date from whom each has their own charming personality for you to fall in love with. Among these, you will find typical stereotypes like a MILF, Weeb, Goth, Sexual Deviant, shy girl, as well as something completely else and unique.

Taking the time to know the girls and their likes and dislikes and distributing the tokens accordingly is the best way to score most points but due to the minigame’s complex nature, this is not always as simple as it sounds…

HuniePop 2’s Match-3 puzzle mechanics demand perfection from the player to a point where even a few wrong moves can end the puzzle to a failure. Even though this may sound harsh, it is actually very rewarding to both win and lose in the minigame because each Match-3 challenge will leave you craving for more no matter the result.

For those who are not looking for a challenge, it is comforting to know that HuniePop 2 has a difficulty setting, as well as other means to make the Match-3 puzzles easier the more you play the game.

You do not have to play the first HuniePop to understand or enjoy the sequel but it is definitely something I encourage you to do just for the sake of how good the first one is despite its now outdated art style compared to HuniePop 2.
