Gal Gun: Double Peace is an ecchi anime-styled rail shooter developed by Inti Creates and published in NA/EU by PQube. It is the second entry in the series that improves upon the first game in many ways.
In this short gameplay demonstration, you get to take a look at two stages from the very early game and some story in between. Similar to the first Gal Gun, our hero has been struck by a love arrow and now all the girls are running wild for him. The player however must choose a single love interest to chase, a choice that you get to see in this very video.
Gal Gun is a crazy rail shooter unlike any other out there. It is packed with humor and perverted content. Despite lacking pornographic elements like full nudity and sex, Gal Gun makes more than up for it with its strong fan service and amusing story.
There is plenty of replay value in Gal Gun Double Peace. Even when revisiting the same old levels, they keep being quite entertaining, thanks to the excellent level design full of hidden items to find.
The first Gal Gun is getting a remaster, Gal Gun Returns, set to release on the 25th of December 2021 (Steam). If you are wondering whether you should play the first Gal Gun before jumping on the second one, know that both games have the same exact idea and starting point, only the story and characters change.
If possible, I do recommend playing the first Gal Gun, as it will allow you to appreciate the second game even more thanks to many of its improvements. There are even some old characters that make a return. Even though they do not play an important role in Double Peace, seeing their faces and hearing their dialogue referring to old events from the first game sure does bring a smile to the face.
