Dungeon of Erotic Master tells the story of three female adventurers who might be quite familiar to some, taken from Rusimarudou’s older game, Goblin Walker.
In a small town rests a dungeon given fame by a legendary adventure king who wandered to the depths of the dungeon, only one day never to return. A quest worthy for our three female adventurers, the girls make a promise to a friend to find out what happened to the adventure king.
Each floor in the dungeon holds unique monsters and challenges one must face and overcome to move forward. Only by preparing well before each departure to the dungeon and discovering new loot to upgrade your characters will you be able to survive Dungeon of Erotic Master.
The dungeon is home to various interesting-looking NPCs, all of who will aid you on your quest in a way or another to help you advance to the next floor. You may talk to the NPCs about different topics of interest, with some holding the key to a puzzle at hand.
The game delivers addictingly well-implemented turn-based combat that offers a real challenge with rewarding hentai mechanics mixed in.
Each of your three characters carries out an important role in battle. You have a mage who deals elemental AOE damage, a warrior with high-risk high-reward heavy attacks, and a paladin able to shield your team and draw aggro when necessary.
Every second floor holds a boss fight for you to face, and usually, these bosses are elemental-based and will require you to find protective gear or some other powerful item to overcome them.
On top of the challenging bosses, there are also mini-bosses that you may bump into if you are not careful and pay attention to your minimap. Just like the main bosses, these mini-bosses can prove to be quite a challenge.
Your characters can be upgraded with better gear either found in the dungeon or bought/crafted back at base. Some gear is element-based and may determine the outcome of a tough battle against a formidable enemy, so swapping gear regularly is highly advised!
Spending extra time exploring each corner of each floor in the dungeon can prove beneficial down the line. While there are no secrets in this game like hidden rooms behind fake walls, some areas can keep valuable loot worth taking the detour.
Unlike many games of this nature, Dungeon of Erotic Master does not encourage nor force defeat in order to get to enjoy the erotic scenes. With an easy-access gallery at hand, all your encounters are registered to the gallery to be viewed at any time.
There are a lot of unique-looking enemies in the game, and even though not every enemy introduces the player to a completely new unique H-animation, all enemies still take part in the hentai scenes and there is plenty to experience!
As a huge fan of the Dungeon crawling genre, I absolutely loved Dungeon of Erotic Master. It was an adventure for me unlike any other! Dungeon of Erotic Master might look like a simple Indie-level dungeon crawler but Rusimarudou understands the genre and knows what makes it exciting.
The game was very challenging and one that encourages players to master its combat in order to survive its toughest challenges waiting at the depths of the dungeon.
My entire time playing the game was filled with excitement to discover new monster types and hentai scenes that came with them.
The hentai scenes were well worth the effort of completing the game, and the completed gallery is something I have found myself returning to from time to time. Should I ever lose the gallery for a reason or another, I would not feel annoyed having to replay Dungeon of Erotic Master but rather I would welcome it.
