Goubakuran RumbleStorm is an old-school sci-fi shoot’em up for adults developed and published by StudioS in 2019. The game uses lovely pixel graphics and amazing soundtracks to guide the player through its 8 stages of addictingly fun gameplay. While it is definitely a short experience, it is also a sweet one for as long as it lasts.
There are two versions available of the game, uncensored, and another one censored [All Ages Edition] with all the hentai scenes cut out and lewd elements hidden. Goubakuran RumbleStorm has a physical version available but can also be purchased from DLsite in digital form.
Goubakuran RumbleStorm Gameplay
Providing 8 stages to play with a boss waiting at the end, each level is pure fun to play through, with an absolutely amazing soundtrack to enjoy that fire up a nostalgic feeling of playing at an arcade. The levels are packed with lots of action. You are constantly being bombarded with enemy projectiles and the scene generally can be positively chaotic most of the time. This feeling is amplified by the upbeat music and great announcer-voice orchestrating all the action happening on the screen.
With 8 stages come 8 bosses. They are not only stunning to look at but also fun to fight against with increasing difficulty to challenge the player. Mere firing at the bosses is not enough to make them fall, one must master how to dodge their attacks well in order to come out of the fight victorious. The bosses are perhaps the best kind of practice when it comes to getting better at the game, and because of this, it’s great that Goubakuran RumbleStorm offers a practice mode that can be accessed from the main menu. Select a specific boss to fight as many times as you like until you are ready to jump back to the campaign.
The game can be beaten in less than an hour, and unfortunately, it does not offer any replay value. Like said before, short but sweet, Goubakuran Rumblestorm however is an easy title to return to from time to time to challenge oneself once more.
Goubakuran RumbleStorm Hentai
Between stages, you are greeted with short hentai scenes to enjoy which bring about the darker side of Goubakuran RumbleStorm. With each new H-scene, the sex between the blue-haired scientist, Yui, and the evil machines only get darker and more grotesque to a point where many may want to look away. We are talking about limbs being cut off and the brain completely exposed.
Reika, being the main protagonist of the story, gets very little attention compared to Yui. Only by being defeated, you get a piece of action of the pilot Reika. Unlike Yui, there is not a single scene where she would be violated by enemies. Instead, what we get is Reika’s spacecraft malfunctioning which results in the spacecraft’s sex machine going out of control on her.
Goubakuran RumbleStorm offers amazing 8 levels to blast through that are filled with beautiful music and boss fights to enjoy. Sprinkled with high-quality hentai in between the levels, this only adds more to the overall enjoyment, though the sudden shift into erotic gore can be a turnoff to many not aware of just how hardcore the hentai can get in this title. Despite its Arcade-like extremely short length, Goubakuran RumbleStorm is a luxury experience, something you do not find every day in the world of adult games!
