A mix of dungeon crawling, turn-based combat, and dating/matching game that blends together brilliantly while telling a grand story utilizing colorful art style, upbeat music, and visual novel format. Everything about DoHna DoHna screams high budget, the kind that very few other adult games can match in quality.
Take part in visually stunning turn-based combat that quickly grows to become addicting for more reasons than one. Capture cute and sexy girls during the ‘Hunting’ phase which is the dungeon-crawling part of the game. To gather money in order to afford items for both the combat and for your captured girls to level their stats, enter the ‘Hustling’ phase to make your girls work for you.
During downtime in between the Hustling and Hunting phases, spend time in the hideout to shop for items and manage your captured girls, as well as level up your party’s ‘feeling’ stats that will unlock new skills and erotic scenes to enjoy.
The game has a day/night mechanic, and there is only a certain amount of action points for each day to spend, so use them wisely. Which captured girls you decide to train to become better at hustling or which party members do you wish to get closer to is all up to you, but remember, time is of the essence.
Story
A City controlled by a single powerful corporation divided into dangerous criminal clans, Dohna Dohna is set in a fictional place in Japan known as Asougi City.
You play as a young man named Kuma, the main protagonist of the story, who is the second-in-command of one of the divided criminal clans, Nayuta. Help Kuma increase his clan’s power and authority by finding young women throughout the city to sell as prostitutes. Face the rival clans and unravel a conspiracy brewing within the city!
In this story, you are not a hero but a low-life criminal just like the rest, only seeking to exploit others for profit. Following a group of anti-heroes fighting the system, you get to take part in a comedy-driven story full of colorful characters that not only deliver in writing but also in voice acting, more so than what is generally expected.
Time mechanic
Experience the game through three major gameplay mechanics; Hunting, Hustling, and Feeling. When a major action is carried out, a day goes by. If certain objectives are met as the days pass, special events will occur.
whether it is going on combat missions (Hunting), Exploiting girls for profit (Hustling), or meeting party members for special events (Feeling), you get to decide what to do and when, but remember that time is of the essence…
Hunting Phase
Select a location of interest from the city map and dive into DoHna DoHna’s exciting Dungeon Crawling system where you move on a map from one tile to another. Each tile holds either an event, an item to collect, or a turn-based battle.
During the hunting phase, the objective is to clear the dungeon while capturing as many girls as possible. Dungeons hold several branching paths, each with its own challenges and rewards. Some paths may lead to a premature end to the dungeon while others will take you on a long journey toward greater rewards. By visiting the same dungeon more than once you have the chance to explore them to completion at expense of days passing by.
Combat system
Battle waves of enemies in turn-based combat and capture girls from the enemy side to be used as prostitutes in the Hustling phase after each dungeon run.
Capturing girls must be carried out with mindfulness and precision, else you run a risk of failing the capture. The girls do not fight back and they get defeated with a single hit but require to be struck as the last target standing. Fail to do so by accidentally using an area of effect attack or having the wrong striking distance in mid-combat and you will be left without a reward at the end of the battle other than experience points gained from the battle.
Fight against waves of enemies using a team consisting of four party members. Switch Party members in mid-battle during your turn to figure out the best way to deal with your enemies.
Each party member has a unique set of skills and each skill has its own striking distance and strengths/weaknesses against certain types of enemies. By moving the character left and right, you can close the gap between you and your enemy or create distance in order to land your attacks successfully to the right target.
Hustling Phase
Earn income by providing sexual services to various clients looking for a good time. Match clients with their ideal girl (aka talent) based on their characteristics. The better matches you create, the more income you earn!
Each client drains the girls physically and mentally, thus lowering their chance of earning income efficiently if not taken care of with gifts and rest. The girls can also run a risk of becoming pregnant, but you can prevent such accidents by putting them on pills, however, with only limited actions each day, you must decide which of the girls requires more attention over the others. Managing the girls’ stats is not an easy task and will require some strategy and time management skills in order to reap great results.
Train and strengthen your talents for them to become better at their craft and dump those who have served their purpose in favor of better ones able to earn more income. With many unique-looking girls to capture, you can build a collection of talents consisting of waifus that speak to your individual taste!
Feeling Phase
Increase the bond of your party members by spending time with them outside Hunting and Hustling. With each visit to the hideout, you can choose one party member to increase their affection. Through increased affection, the characters learn new skills to use in battle and also draw you closer to new story events and erotic scenes to enjoy.
Shop
Visit the shop in-between Hunting and Hustling when hanging out at your hideout. Purchase items for your party members to use in battle or gifts for the captured girls to increase their stats to be used in the hustling phase.
Money is earned through Hustling. Make your girls put their “assets” to good use by entertaining horny clients in order to earn money that can be spent in the shop.
DoHna Dohna Hentai
DoHna DoHna features a wide variety of different characters that take part in the lewd scenes, some of which appear quite young even. These scenes consist of your female party members and side characters.
Erotic scenes can be unlocked by increasing the bond between you and your female party members, as well as simply by progressing the story. As your party members’ affection rises, you eventually get to experience unique lewd scenes with them that are provided in a typical Visual Novel format.
