Story
Wild Life tells a story of a young rookie mercenary named Max who crash lands on a planet known as Kerpal, home to open-minded and lustful humanoid creatures. Max will soon learn the ways of the natives and their carefree way of surrendering one’s body to sex in heat of a moment.
A second protagonist yet to be introduced properly within the game is Maya, a native Kerpal who possesses the ability to shapeshift into a winged kerpali, thus providing players the power of flight to traverse the game world with ease.
Within the story, the player will get to enjoy voice-acted characters, story-driven quests, and short cinematic cutscenes. From the current satisfyingly large cast of characters, the developers aim to build up and offer over 100 NPCs that will make an appearance in the story with different roles, moods, and preferences.
NPC dialogue
Though Wild Life is not about making critical choices that can impact the flow of the story, it offers dialogue choices, some of which can punish the player by creating unexpected tiny events or rubbing NPCs the wrong way, thus shattering friendships.
NPCs do not often simply succumb to the simple requests for sex, instead, you must win their heart by completing questlines and making the right choices.
Combat
Wild Life has seen an upgrade to its fast-paced real-time combat system from its earlier build that now offers a more fluid and responsive movement and battle animations that give promise of enjoyable combat down the line. The enemies are designed with unique attack patterns which help make the combat feel more invigorating.
World
The world of Wild Life is promised to be open to exploring with territories belonging to different factions. Each area holds a unique setting and secrets to discover. You will be playing as both Max and Maya who can move in the world in a unique way with Max’s grappling hook to climb mountains and Maya’s ability to fly freely.
Explore Grasslands, Jungle, Mountains, Canyons, and Desert. These areas will have camps to visit, some of which can be hostile.
Quests
There is a promising variety of quests that give meaning in Wild Life for the player to look forward to. From hooking up with strangers and helping them with their personal troubles to hunting beasts in wild areas and gathering resources to increase the chance of survival, the game is more than just counting seconds for the next erotic scene.
Heart/Strike system
Introduced within the demo, the Heart/Strike system is a way for Wild Life to provide a path to progress with each NPC that can be romanced. By making the right choices you can get closer to your companions that will eventually lead to erotic scenes to enjoy.
However, in addition to the heart system, there is also a strike system that will punish the player for wrong moves that will lead to NPCs becoming irritated, thus not wanting anything to do with you.
