Midnight Castle Succubus DX is an erotic pixel-styled Metroidvania action-platformer developed in collaboration by Pixelteishoku and Libra Heart. The game was originally released in 2019 on DLsite but later became available on Steam as an enhanced version, on the 18th of September 2020, published by Critical Bliss.
Arm yourself with a whip and will to put yourself in the way of danger and begin your action-filled adventure to rescue abducted girls from the hands of an evil Succubus. Fight regular monsters and challenging bosses, take advantage of NPC companions who aid you in battle, and enjoy lovely pixel H-animations and CGs!

Midnight Castle Succubus Gameplay
When a Succubus begins her every 100-years traditional threat against humanity that results in men dying and women disappearing, a succubus hunter visits a cursed city to put an end to this tragedy. Now bravely go forth and rescue abducted girls and defeat the evil succubus!
Explore Metroidvania-styled mazes filled with secrets and dangers. The world is built to be unique with more than a handful of charming locations to challenge. The further you wander in the maze, the more challenging the game grows. When feeling enough of adventure for one day, you can always save your session from the pause menu and continue from where you left off. The game can offer around 2-5 hours of fun.
Levels
Midnight Castle Succubus DX offers a Metroidvania-styled world where there are several paths to walk back and forth, filled with monsters waiting to be defeated and platform challenges to face, not to mention secrets to be found. Not all areas are passable right away, to advance certain areas, you first must locate a boss holding a key that may lead you forward.
During your adventure, you may discover old men in robes who sell you useful weapons and abilities that can aid you on your quest to defeat the evil succubus. Make sure to collect all the coins that you can find to afford what the NPCs offer. Coins can be discovered from destructible candles and other objects. You can also find things like HP tokens that increase your overall health.
Combat
Use your mighty whip to slash damage at enemies from a safe distance. Gather heart tokens to increase your health and find other useful items and abilities that make your journey through the maze an easier one. There are several different whips to use, some of which offer increased damage, elemental damage boost, or even projectile ability.
There are a healthy amount of different enemy types in the game, varying from simple bats and skeletons all the way to sewer mutants and other oddlings of the night. Each of these enemies has its own way of approach and attack patterns.
You can summon support characters to your aid both in battle and exploration by accessing the pause menu. Before you can summon a companion, you must first earn them through playing the game.
Boss fights
Defeat bosses to gain keys in order to advance to a new area that was unpassable before. There are over 10 bosses to fight, each offering an increased challenge the further you dare to wander. Many of these bosses are often female with a naked form for the player to appreciate.
All of the bosses deliver a unique experience where both their presentation and attack patterns do not follow the same formula as those that came before them. With Midnight Castle Succubus DX, the bosses can be described as the true spectacle of the game, especially the final boss.
Midnight Castle Succubus Hentai
DX is an enhanced version of the original Midnight Castle Succubus which offers 25 newly drawn HCGs and H pixel animations. Overall there are 64 HCGs and 36 H pixel animations in the game! These lewd scenes mostly center around helpless girls being violated by tentacles and monsters.
Upon taking enough damage, your clothes get torn off, exposing your character’s perky pixel breasts. Being defeated results in your character getting violated by monsters. You can also find abducted girls in the same situation who are in need of rescue.
Though appearing only briefly, some loading screens utilize erotic CGs. You can access the full H-gallery from the main menu. Remember to save your progress before accessing the H-Gallery to view the latest unlocked scenes. While the H-scenes can appear during gameplay, the game is fundamentally built in a way where the H-scenes are expected to be enjoyed purely within the gallery rather than while playing.
Midnight Castle Succubus DX is an easy recommend for anyone who loves retro-gaming and Metroidvania genre, especially games like the old-school Castlevania. Despite being quite simple-looking, it has a lot more going on for itself than what meets the eye.
