League of Maidens is a single player Free-to-Play online action RPG game developed by Maiden Gaming Inc. Back in 2019, I had the pleasure to introduce the game to you all on YouTube and now it is yet again my pleasure to let you know that League of Maidens will be available for open Alpha play in 25th of February, 2021!
Featuring sexy maidens with guns and super powers, League of Maidens aims to deliver fan service in the most delicious way possible by offering hot and exciting gameplay with vast customization options to make your dream Waifu. Take your Waifu for a spin in the world of superheroes and battle against monsters to save the mankind!
League of Maidens Character customization
The character creator in League of Maidens is filled with all kinds of buttons and sliders, able to customize your characters in almost never-before-seen level of detail. If there is some part in the body of your character that you wish to tweak in a way or another, League of Maidens most likely has a slider for that, no kidding! With over 200+ sliders alone, you know you are getting way more options and flexibility than what other games currently offer.
It is said that there are over 80+ sliders for the face alone, and over 50+ sliders for the body. 11 sliders for the breast and 9 sliders for the butt. 4 sliders for the hips, 7 sliders for the thighs and 6 sliders for the genitals.
There is full RGB color customization for every aspect of your character along with customization including but not limited to; hair, makeup, eyebrows, eyeshadow, lips , individual left and right eye customization, pupil, teeth, face, body, skin and outfit wetness… Oh, you get the idea already! Heck, there is even customization for pubic hair and sexual preference.
There are 9 different race types to choose from, and the developers want to highlight the fact that, yes, there is a furry race included. When it comes to the superhero outfits, this game does not shy away from showing skin. there are many great skintight outfits to choose from, but if you got taste for something that is less in-your-face, there are of course choices for those as well.
league of Maidens features a pose3D mode that allows players to pose individual or multiple maidens in created scenes with integrated post processing and instant 4K photo capability. There is said to be over 70+ HDR backgrounds for photo taking while in character customization and pose3D.
If you are in for some self-made game trailers, League of Maidens got you covered! Found within the game, Motion Replay feature will help you create in-game cinematic films, just like how the Maiden Gaming Inc used to make their own trailer.
League of Maidens Gameplay
In League of Maidens, players take control of beautiful female characters known as War Maidens, immortals who are tasked with protecting or destroying mankind.
The game features air, ground, and sea combat, with third person gun, projectile, and melee fighting that includes combo abilities and counters. You can run on the ground, swim, or take up in the air and fly. The game tries to offer as much freedom to the player by not restricting movement both in free-roam and combat.
In typical Mmorpg fashion, the quests in the game may ask you to kill X amount of specific monsters in a city or desert area. There are some world bosses to take out in-between which help shake things up a little, but anything beyond this familiar Mmorpg formula should not be expected. Having said that, it needs to be reminded that League of Maidens is not an Mmorpg, it simply imitates many of its mechanics and features for single player experience.
Within league of Maidens you can find Versus Mode, but unlike the name suggest, this is not PVP. The versus mode acts as a single player Moba with two sides battling to take out another one’s Nexus (Turret). The developers have not ruled out the possibility of this mode becoming a true PVP one day, but for now, it will be only you battling against A.I.
League of Maidens is built to support Mmorpg features with its Versus Mode and Hub World that could one day populate other players. If the game will succeed to capture a large audience with enough support, it is not far-fetched to see the game transform from single player experience to something else that can host more players at the same time. This is not just me speculating, it is something that the developers have stated in the past.
While the game is not a full-on adult game with sex scenes, League of Maidens however does take its fan service a step above other games that often are too afraid to go places with their characters. In League of Maidens you can enjoy your character’s sex appeal to the fullest by stripping them naked, taking a shower, and enjoying your character’s appearance in various different poses. Those boob and butt physics are not there for laugh and giggles but for you to enjoy!
The game offers plenty of cosmetics to dress your character and with the in-game cosmetic shop as the game’s business model, you know the developers will be hard at work offering more and more sexy cosmetics in the future as well! The pricing for these cosmetics and whether you can gain them simply by playing the game however is yet to be seen…
League of Maidens Alpha & Early Access
League of Maidens was created by 3 developers only! While this is a remarkable achievement, it is good to keep in mind that the game is prone to have some bugs. If you are not comfortable with playing in early state with bugs, the developers recommend jumping in at beta stage which will be announced at a later date somewhere in the unknown future.
The length of Early Access will dependent on feedback and suggestions of the players that the developers receive during the open alpha and how quickly they can implement them. In other words, when the game feels ready.
The full version of the game will differ from the Early Access version by offering full questing path and healthy amount of endgame mechanics. As the game is right now, League of Maidens offers stable gaming with fully functioning mechanics that the players can engage with for many hours. Having said that, the way the game is designed, it is said to be best enjoyed in short bursts of couple hours per day.
As for the free-to-play question. This is a F2P game, so even when the game will step out of Early Access at some point, you will still be able to enjoy the game for free! The game features an in-game shop with only cosmetics that can be purchased using real money, this is the business model for League of Maidens. How well it is implemented in practice is yet to be seen and reviewed.
The Alpha test will begin 25th of February, 2021. During this time anyone can jump in for free and enjoy the game.
