The Book of Bondmaids is an erotic grim-themed medieval fantasy adventure visual novel that takes players on an immersive journey of choices and consequences. Developed and published by Kamti, the game was released on Steam on 24th September 2021, and it’s a sequel to Three Kingdoms Story: Conussia.
Story
Set in a kingdom torn apart by a coup, the game introduces players to a hero caught between redemption and damnation, an undead Lich who sits on the throne, and a princess imprisoned with a dark secret. As a courtier of the previous regime, the player’s services have been retained by the Lich.
While the game amazes its players with stunning artwork to guide its story, it needs to be mentioned that it also has a fair share of unfinished artwork in the form of colorized sketches, and the story heavily lacks voice acting, music, and sound, thus rendering it a mostly silent adventure.
Gameplay
The Book of Bondmaids offers players the chance to carve their own paths and find their own endings among multiple possibilities. The game is provided in five different languages, accessible from the menu: English, Chinese, Russian, Portuguese, and Japanese.
DLC
The Book of Bondmaids has a DLC available called “The Book of Bondmaids – Cooks, Thieves, Wives and Lovers“. This DLC introduces several new areas and characters, including a new bondmaid and three brand-new quests. Each quest takes place during the events of the main game but is accessible to players who have already completed it.
