Love Stories: Furry Shades of Gay is a Furry hentai visual novel with match-three puzzle gameplay mixed in. Developed by Furlough Games, the title was just recently released on Steam, 18th of December 2020.
Furry Shades of Gay promises five short stories with mild decision making leading to branching narrative. Each story comes with its hot steamy action between furry male characters. The game has not had a chance to be out on sale for long for having just been released but the couple dozen reviews it already has look very promising.
It is not often I come across furry games, and when I do, it is unfortunately very hard to discover anything worthwhile. While Love Stories: Furry Shades of Gay is not my type of furry porn, I can definitely see it as something worth to recommend for those who are into this sort of stuff. The game sparkles of well-drawn art, interesting character designs, and pretty fun-looking colorful match-three style gameplay.
Furry Shades of Gay Gameplay
You as the player need to navigate different furry characters’ insecurities and hang-ups in order to get to taste the good stuff, not every situation leads straight to sex.
Each short story tackles two new characters. We get to experience things like Defense Attorney getting masculated by his client, dorm buddies getting to know each other very closely on first meet, roleplaying between two lovers using maid outfit, Pride parade leading to a side alley adventure, and finally, two old friends meeting by accident in a bar which leads to a night of fun together.
The gameplay takes form in match-three style of minigame between stories. By scoring points, sex scenes advance differently according to the end result. This creates an interesting spin on the old formula of simply trying to get laid by winning the minigame.
The art style may not always be consistent. Some artwork clearly takes a drop in quality compared to others, but the sex scenes overall should not leave anyone disappointed, assuming one knows what they are barking for going into the game…
If you enjoy Furry games, you might enjoy The Adventures of Kincaid, a sexy action adventure platformer drawn in beautiful pixel art. While it is not specifically tailored towards gays, it does offer that tasty furry porn between a beautiful female furry character named Kincaid and every creature she meets along the way of her sci-fi adventure.
